| 1. ECU from e-bay This is a Volvo ECU, which we will be chopping up in this guide. However, any 55-pin ECU box will do. Talking it apart is much the same.

| 2. Prise back the metal tabs on the back of the box, and remove all screws & plastic clips. |  |
| 3. Use a dremel cutting wheel to remove the PCB. Be carefull not to chop
off the plastic lugs that holds the 55-pin socket to the base. |   |
| 4. Cut off the remianing PCB by slicing the pins with the dremel wheel. |   |
5. Cut off the raised area shown (if present). You may need to file it down to remove any sharp edges.
