Notes on V3.57 boards

From $1

    (As supplied by DIYEFI.co.uk)

    Single coil driver

If a single coil driver is specified (installed as standard), the output will be connected to Pin 36 (brown wire) of the DB37 socket.  Select D14 (LED 14) as spark A in the configuration,  In most cases, you want the output setting to be "inverted".  Please check this with your particular application.

    Multi-Coil drivers (external - unconnected)

Where the coil drivers have been supplied seperatly, for external fitting, the signals for the drivers are availabe on the DB15 socket as follows.  An inline resistor (usually 330 ohms) will be needed, and should have been supplied with the drivers.

    Spark A Pin 15 LED 14
    Spark B Pin 14 LED 16
    Spark C Pin 13 LED 15
    Spark D Pin 12

    Issues with VR Input

Try putting a 10K to 12K resistor inline with the sensor on the ground wire.  Make sure you are using shielded cable, and that the ground shield is terminated at the MS ground (and not grounded at any other point).
